Becoming Bulletproof Day 4

 

So once you have got a subscriber to your list, you have to take care of them and always offer them the respect that they deserve. Don't just send them offers all the time, they will soon get cheesed off with that and all that hard work will be undone when they hit the un-subscribe button. You have to build a relationship with your list, this is why there are people out there with lists of thousands of 'people' however it's not worth a penny to them because they have no relationship with them, most probably don't even open the emails that are sent to them....I am on a few people's lists and have been for years, the reason is I have got to know like and trust these people, I know when they send me an email it will be worth reading. I know people who have lists of just 500 people, but these people are engaged with the marketer, and when he does send them an offer that he thinks will help them in their business he makes thousands of pounds. Question is which would you rather have ?

Days 2 & 3

 KLT....Know Like & Trust

Ok folks....think about this from your own personnel point of view, when you buy something do you tend to always buy from someone or a company business you know & trust ?

This is exactly the same online, probably even more so, they say on average that you have to have exposure to your client 6-8 times before they might buy from you. This is why it's so important that you offer value first. If you just go straight in there and spam your affiliate links to people, your saying buy from me, buy from me!! Please....it just doesn't work, it's like the pushy car salesman coming running over to you when you start showing interest in a car...they go straight into their 'trained' sales pitch!! I'm not sure about you but that puts my back up straight away!! 

So here is just one example of how you can do this, first you create value, create value on what?  Good question, lets say for example you are into cooking and eating Italian pizza (hmmm, sound good) you like to cook your own pizza from scratch, you make your own dough, sauce, meat / vegetable toppings, you have invested in a proper pizza oven, or even built your own...you get the idea, you feel like you have plenty of good information you could tell someone about the subject.

 How do you get this information across to the public ?

 

There are many ways today with the power of the internet, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Blog...etc etc. 

So, I've decided to do some video tutorials about how I go about making and cooking my own pizza, you can just video yourself with your smart phone, upload the video to the tubes, there's always plenty of people searching for this kind of thing because you have done your research ? they enter 'how to make pizza' in the search engine and your video comes up, you keep adding videos to your YouTube channel and low and behold you are offering great content...the videos will get better, at the bottom of your video you have a link to your Opt In page....because they have seen your videos and learned some good stuff they have no problem into subscribing to your channel or opt in page, you send them more helpful information with your follow up sequence (autoresponder) 

Eventually you start promoting stuff that they might need to get going.....example I know Ooni ovens have an affiliate program. They end up ordering through your affiliate links because by now they have watched your content, they feel like you have offered them some useful advise and have no problem ordering through your links.

It's just human nature, if you help people without coming across as needy, no hidden agenda, your honest and transparent....people can see that a mile off.

I realise it's not just as easy as putting a view videos up on YouTube and every man and his dog will come flooding to your offers, there's much more to it than that....we can get into the details later....

It's A Long Term Game

 Day 1

How many people start out with a new business idea, they have done their research and done what most people do by setting themselves milestones and goals which are based on vanity metrics, example by week 16, I want to be earning 10k profit per month, I want to be creating 1,000 leads per day by week 8 ETC. What on earth are these ideas based on ?

What is your number one asset ?

Time stands still for no man. Time can be your Enemy but also your number 1 asset ? You can't control time but you can control how you spend it.

Things you can't control:- The learning curve of a new business, family commitments. mistakes you make along the way.

Things you can control:- Time watching TV, Netflix, Facebook, TikTok (so addictive), parties, pub, socialising, travelling, holiday etc etc.....just have a think about how much time you spend on un necessary activities. Now don't get me wrong, we all need a little down time now and again...but do we really need to watch that box set of Game Of Thrones ??

With this being a journey, we must get out Mindset & Attitude right from day 1.

 Ok, so you have this new business idea, your pumped and full of enthusiasm. You start to plan out what needs to be done, you have set your 'realistic' goals....Party pooper alert!!! 95% of all start ups FAIL within 1 year....why is that ? Who knows but it's a fact.

Ok folks, setting up your own business online or offline is not easy, imagine trying to come up with a new product idea or new service that is unique these days ?  This is why I decided to set up an affiliate marketing business, all this means is....to start with you start selling other peoples products, now obviously you need to do some research on a product or service you are happy to be associated with as there are a lot of people out there who are interested in one thing...your money!!
